This is just beautiful!
The red shoes, by the way, carries the composition into a higher level.
A lovely, strong portrait. Perhaps you should also try a monochrome as well...
A nice play of colors.
I agree with SunToucher about the composition.
Since you can not probably "uncrop" the feet, you may perhaps consider decreasing the negative space a bit.
I think this may look more dramatic with a different post processing.
(I understand you have aimed at something else).
Now we only have the drama of the subject matter; still very strong...
I agree with chocolate29.
I wouyd also suggest suggest filling more of the frame with the baby and putting the mother to the background. I lower angle and a position close to the baby can do the trick.
Best wishes to you all.
This reminds me of my country :)
One can hear the flow of water down below the trees...
Insan bunun icinde kayboluyor...
Gozumuzun onundeki zenginlik...
"You are not still angry with me, are you?"
The highlight detail is superb.
The composition and -more importantly- the "feel" deserves a re-scan to show more shadow detail, I think.
Thanks for the info. The selective desaturation seems to have worked nicely for this image.
I wonder if you would consider something (cropping, toning etc) to darken the rather too bright upper right part.
