Very nice composition and a good choice of the format !
I applaud anyone that experiments and tries something different. The panoramic composition works, but, personally, I think the black frame is a little heavy. I also like the warm tones.
I love poppies, good idea, the result is interesting, the warm tones and colors please me.
Nice atmosphere that reminds me Giverny.
I like your artistic sensitivity.
Good linear lines created by the stretchers and umbrellas with there spotted colors of reds and greens. One negative I find is that your horizon is not straight and does spoil the photo.
I like this much more ! A nice symetry who gives a huge perspective, just broken by the palm tree and the blue water who seems flowing on the beach.
And much more without these only "decorative" frames! :)
A good photo to show photography students what not to do.
And you have actually no other reason for publishing this photo. She is than really very negative. Even flowers go away.
I see you took this photo 3 years ago, so, I assume you have since improved.
Over two thirds of this photo is over exposed, burnt out sky. And it dominates too much. The flowers in the foreground are not sharp and lack any real detail.
Sorry to be so negative.
It does not take much to improve the dynamic aspect of the image. A simple twist to the left catches better the eye.(Workshop)
Please understand that this is my opinion only and is not meant to offend or annoy.
I think, in this photo, you were limited by your equipment. You used a focal length of 155mm and, because the file is only 33Kb, you have cropped the image quite a lot. Because you have cropped as much as you dare, there is a lot of space around the birds which has no interest. Also, as a result, the birds have little detail. You used pattern metering which has resulted in the long necks and faces being over exposed, which again has resulted in a lack of detail.
Sorry to be so negative, but, as I said, it's only my opinion as a keen amateur.
