congratulations judy. you have a beauuuuuuuuuuutiful daughter. lovely pet too. i just wish it was a bit better in quality (ie, tripod or flash used), but its hard to pre-arrange things and better not to miss a quick snap at least. well captured.

Judy, I don't believe it. Someone who actually manages to be away for so long and then come back. Well, it gives me hope that someday I will be posting again. An interesting shot for your reappearance. Grainy black and white and one of those shots that make you wonder where the photographer was standing. That's always good. Hope we'll see more of each other's works in future.

Hi Judy,

I reached this shot by 'Orphaned Photo' feature... *s* And wondering why it's without any critique. I like it. For several reasons: mostly the composition - very strong and vell balanced. I like the use of semi-silhouettes here. This doubles the impact - on one hand showing some details, on the other creating sort of artistic impression. Grain and b&w conversion with a touch of sepia (visible at least on my monitor - should I adjust it...? *s*) along with slight motion blur gives mood characteristic to old photos. I like this shot! tfs

Judy,
Fine capture! I like the yellow-tineted sepia here. I have never seen this tint before on an image. It seems very original. I think you got the composition right and left some good notes. Good job,
Scott
