I'm most impressed in how you managed the contrast - nothing is blown out is this posting with 1/4 second. impressive

Roberto
Mmmmm the first thing I notice is the soft focus on the bird as well as the branch. Sorry.

Hi Ersin
Couple of suggestions, first: the whitish leaf at the bottom center FG is a distraction - if it were brown and out of focus it wouldn't be quite as bad, better out of the frame. Second: crop a bet off the right side to move the mushroom a bit more off center. On a positive note you focus is spot on and the color tones are very pleasing.

I don't agree with Vic - The boat is a distraction - you have done a good job with the fall colors and they are the center of interest. The boat clutters up the composition. The other issue which you don't have control over is the branch the cut the image in half.

Color and clarity are this image's strong points, however, there is room for improvement. The major elements of the composition are crowded - the red kayak needs space to it's right, while the house is tight on the left edge. The Light should be straight and with a bit more room above.

Morning
I totally agree with the comments above this one regarding your image. But I would like to make a few suggestions, the over all image would be improved if you could eliminate the white corner (upper right)and darken the bright spot in the upper center. And finally, pump up the saturation just a tad.

Hello Karen
You mastered this scene - the high contrast perfectly managed, the lines all true and straight, focus spot on. No suggestions on this one.

Karen
Hello again. I recall your tell us about this trip. Like what your have done here. Particularly the soft lighting - how the rock begin to light up. Wave action and composition well done. Two suggestions: try dodging the top of the left FG hot part of the waves and consider bringing up the vividness on the rock where the sun is lighting them up. aK workshop moved the image in the right direction. (Don't visit here much, but could resist seeing what you had posted. Have a good weekend.)

Hi Karen

Ahhh there you are. I've been checking to see your posting from the bridge.
Good detail on the North Tower. Nice staring on the red light atop the tower - perfect exposure on the City.
Bravo
