Nicely composed self portrait. The title of this intrigued me to ask "what?" and so I had to read your note to find out what this was all about. Yeah, shooting yourself, a clever metaphor.
The overall composition and content is very interesting and makes this a nice picture.
Nice image Musa. I grew up with goats so I'm familiar with just how horny they can be, and usually are, although they could just be playing as it's in their nature to play this way, but your photo helps to give off a feeling of battle..
I like the way the lower wall creates an imaginary boundary to fight over, it helps to strengthen this image I think. The rough/rocky terrain also adds to a feeling of conflict.
Wonderful image. The reflection of the sky helps to create a balanced feel of unreality that is contained here. The overall image is beautiful despite the dark deathly theme of the main visual elements. Well seen.
Very nice perspective Daniela:
I love the difference in architectual styles going from left to right and the distance that you have shown between them here.
Very good capture of the main subjuct, made much more effective by the frame of limbs around it. Very nice perspective. Works wonderfully. Well seen.
This is wonderful macro work, and you chose wisely to formatt in B&W. A very nice detail in this is the reflection of what is behind in the drops on the rings.
My critism is your lack of a note.
This is a very good choice for formatting as a B&W, and you have done a very good job of getting the tonal ranges just right for this.
There are a huge number of possibilities for philosophical questioning here. I have chosen to answer your question more directly, but this can also be taken philosophically. Haben is looking for the next safe step on his path.
Love the photo, and your presentation (and that you have chosen not to use a frame)
Great example of the magic of backlighting Muhammad: A wonderfully simple image with great detail and a strong composition.
Hi Le Bich:
Very nice Macro. This is a Lotus Leaf? A brief note explaining where you were and what you were shooting would be very helpful.
I like the reflection of the a tree(?) and the sky above in the drops of water on the leaf which is very sharp and clear. Really nice photo.
Hi John: Beautifully photographed image. The colors are wonderful. Kudos for not wrapping it in a frame! This peaked my interest from the thumbnail view as it at first seemed to have a framework of wood around the posts above but not in the reflection. The horizon line in the background gave me this impression.
The object in the lower right that is not in focus distracts a little, but you obviously don't want to crop this out as you would lose an important part of the picture by doing so. Good capture.
