I love the mood, I love the blue, I love the sun's rays ..but... somehow, the silhouette thing doesn't quite work here. I would far rather you wrote a note than pollute a potentially good picture with your name.

Clearly a very personal take on this picture.
I like that any picture can mean something.
Aesthetically this is not inspiring, technically it is not great...but when you add the words and then look it changes the whole feel of the picture.
Interesting if not inspiring.

I like it!
Well composed, simple and an uplifting message.
I assume a stick long enough to avoid footprints.
Welcome to TL.
Hope to see many more.

The quality and humanity of this picture is matched by the sentiment in your message. I applaud both. Mike

I like everything about this posting. A good shot does more than just appeal to the eye, but it provokes thought, empathy, creativity and links the viewer to bigger themes and ideas. You have done this.
The title is excellent and attracted me in the first place, the first glance at the shot brought a smile, and the text in your note finished it of superbly.
Thanks Alex.

Great note which brings life to a fair photo.

This is a great site. The blue granite from the Preseli hills in Wales had some to come before being plced with such precision. I like the title and the diminutive protector. The snow on the ground adds a gravitas and sense of timelessness too.Points for the fellings and thoughts evoked by the scene, not for the technical aspects. Why did you take this shot? Tell us via the note ad it helps the viewer engage with the scene.

The light is beautiful! Wonderfully composed and exposed.

A pretty ugly piece of equipment. You have caught it superbly. Symmetry is good.
I never like to SEE TEXT ON A GOOD PICTURE. iN THIS CASE IT IS COVERING UP SOME POTENTIAL INTEREST IN THE SHOT. WAS THIS INTENTIONAL.
GOOD SPOT THOUGH...FOR THAT A SMILEY.
