|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|In Europe, periwinkle flowers have been used to combat spells, and repell witches. In someplaces, it was even called sorcerer's violet. Despite toxic when swallowed, the Madagascar periwinkle was used in the past by local people against diabetes. Recently, vinblastine and vincristine have been extracted from the plant and proved to be active against cancer and leukemia. Local name "Vonenina" is given to the Vinca Rosea. This one was shot in my mother's garden just before sunset|
