[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Our first stop in Madagascar was Isle Saint Marie --primarily to see Humpback Whales. We were not disappointed. This view is from just behind a Mommy Humpback. The bubbles ahead of her are from her 3 month old "baby". The sky was clear and the water was calm this morning.

Hi Karin
I just love this shot! Breathtaking.

Greetings from Denmark

I am amazed !!!

warm regards

Considering there are no sharp details this is a strangely compelling picture. The shapes are very sinuous and look powerful - if you didn't know what it was you could guess it was something really powerful. And the colours really speak of the deep sea. A superb picture.
Thanks for sharing

cool impression. love the blue and the water.
Good shot and good work.

Hi Karin
Very impressive photography was not sure what the image was at first
glance. Must have been a amazing trip and wow what a feeling you
would have with such a large animal so close, one must feel
somewhat vulnerable even knowing they usually are gentle giants.
