[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The doors of Essaouira have a soul. They are the face of these houses inward turned.
They tell the story of the city, inhabited by the Portuguese, Jews, Arabs, French’s... Wars, fishery, trade, slave trade too...
They also tell the character of their inhabitants: pride, humility, arrogance sometimes.
I wish I had time to photograph them all, in their best light, to guess their secret...

Hello Catherine
Great capture with Essaouira lovely street!
I like the light and colors of this wonderful Morocco!
Congratulation!
Horia

Ciao Catherine, beautiful perspective on lovely street with fantastic door in Fg, splendid composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

The lead-in from the lower left corner and the vanishing-point placed towards the upper-right 1/3rd are two strong compositional elements that make this shot effective.

Possibly some post work to control the overblown sky in the upper right part of the frame would help.

Bonjour Catherine

Carol
