Essaouira on the Moroccan coast

The word Essaouira means image. Observed from any angle, Essaouira is a perfect photograph. Behind its purple ramparts and inside its whitewashed medina with blue doors lies a city that has been influenced by various cultures (Berber, Carthaginian, Portuguese, English, Bambara and others). It was the Jewish traders that once formed the majority of the population and it was they who transformed Essaouira into what became Morocco's most prosperous city in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Essaouira was formerly known as "Mogador", the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed city, as an example of a late 18th century fortified town.

A very well thought perspective, Tsilla, which makes this composition very effective in terms of its quality!

The blue sky is amazing and a diagonal approach to place the guns in the picture is very well planned. I am little bit concerned over the noise as seen in the sky part of the picture. Other than that, the picture is wonderful and nicely taken.

Have a nice weekend.

Thanks and regards,

Olá Tsilla,
Well composed, nice diagonal perspective. Good POV/DOF and great sharpness.
Good to see.
