[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A desert is a landscape or region that receives almost no precipitation. Deserts are defined as areas with an average annual precipitation of less than 250 millimetres (10 in) per year,or as areas where more water is lost by evapotranspiration than falls as precipitation. In the Köppen climate classification system, deserts are classed as BWh (hot desert) or BWk (temperate desert). In the Thornthwaite climate classification system, deserts would be classified as arid megathermal climates
Deserts are part of a wider classification of regions that, on an average annual basis, have a moisture deficit (i.e. they can potentially lose more than is received). Deserts are located where vegetation cover is sparse to almost nonexistent.

Hi Mariana,
That is a desert, a camel and some dusty road. Wonder that the few trees survive beyond this. Characteristic of a good recording. Gratulálok Sandor

Bonjour Mariana,

Un magnifique dépaysement, avec ses couleurs chaudes
et les chameaux apportent beaucoup de vie à cette image.
Je remarque un plus, beaucoup de végétations.
Certes de jolis souvenirs ici. Merci pour le partage.

Hi Mariana

Good repetition of the camels, which also add scale to the vastness of this arid landscape. Good warm cold color contrasts between the red sand & blue sky, with superb textural details & lighting on the dunes. Tfs!

Hi Mariana!

I love to see your Morocco photos! The sand has such a beautiful color. I like this photo with the camels and the greenery adds a great contrasting color.
