|The banks of a dry river sometimes flowing in the Namib desert one sees the wonderful patterns created by the forces of nature. This is my entry to the Natures Patterns Theme.|

Perfect contribution to the "Patterns of Nature" theme. This columnar jointing occurs in basalt and is not very common. It also occurs in other rock types. The columns often are hexagonal in cross section. A very good example. Well done.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a well-known architect, designer, water colourist and artist. His artistic approach had much in common with parallel symbolism.
