[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, was only 13 years old when he came to power. During his lifetime he had more than 8000 soldiers, 130 chariots, 670 horses, many officials, acrobats, strongmen and musicians sculptured by 700000 workers. The purpose was for them to protect him in his afterlife - huge superstition.

This historical treasure was discovered by two farmers digging a water well in 1974. Many bronze and brass objects have also been uncovered. When the sculptures are exposed to the atmosphere discoloration takes only a few seconds to occur and the paint starts flaking off within a minute. The sculptures are kept in very subdued daylight with flash photography and the use of tripods not being allowed. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terracotta_Army

Hi, Neels. Nice postcard of these terra-cotta warriors. I think the colors came out pretty nice in spite of subdued light. Nice sharp image, good composition and lighting. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Neels,
A very well presented image of these ancient statues.Interesting note! There must be a lot of history represented in your image.

Olá Neels,
A beautiful image and good photographic work.
The light that penetrates laterally thickens the DOF.
