[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is pronounced "kan4qiu2", and an online dictionary offers it as the Chinese version of "fore":

Fore! (golf) / Watch out for the ball! (literally)

I'm wondering if this statue was originally depicting a warrior wielding a sword, axe or some other kind of weapon, and the golf club was a later addition. And is he on his follow-through, or is he just about to beat someone? I guess we'll never know.

I cropped, adjusted levels, and cloned out a lamp post that seemed to be propping him up. I wasn't thinking when I framed the photo--I was thinking that if his body blocked the lamp, I could clone out the lamp pole. What I should have done was have the lamp sticking out of his hip and the pole blocked by his leg--that way I'd just have to clone the sky, not leaves and branches.
