|My colleague, Isabell, was kind enough to strike a few poses for me at work today so I could try out a Beauty Dish I just got.|
The beauty dish is supposed to create a soft diffused light, which is why it's sometimes called a soft light reflector.
The beauty dish I got is design for studio lights but I'm using it with my Canon 430 EX and a special mount I got with a softbox.
I had the Beauty Dish with the Canon 430 EX at 1/32 camera right
I used a Vivitar DF400MZ at 1/1 with a grid on to light the background. This flash is positioned directly behind Isabell and pointing at the wall.
I also had a silver reflector below her camera left to reflect the light coming from the wall onto her chest.
I accentuated the lens flare coming from the wall slightly in PP.

Heh. Nice job. Good sharp tones and textures and nice interaction from your model. Good work with the wind in her hair.

Extremely pretty and proffesional Jens,I fell in love;]
You really didnt get enough credit for this shot. The lighting is good man, very professional. The quality is out of sight. Ive noticed youve started using alot of primes, im going to guess its because of the switch to full frame? Nothing wrong with that.
Its an excellent picture man, great work. Its so nice to see something different in here and you do that.
