[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I went to an old age home in Kalimpong that is run by a trust. They also run a free eye clinic there. Took some photographs there. There was this old gentleman counting beads and looked liked he didnt mind being photographed. He probably didnt mind many things now.

PP: Desaturated a little, USM.

Very nice composition, Neeraj! And great control of the DOF, with superb detail on the hands and beads. Excellent!

the details and sharpness is awsome here Neeraj :)
i usually like to see faces in street photos, but this works well here
you captured the mood beautiful even without the face
excellent work

I read somewhere yesterday that photographing hands is one of the most difficult challenges to a photographer. I must agree, after many failed attempts. But you have no such problem in here. Details on the old hand are very clearly presented, texture well preserved. Good work.

great work

Good job, Neeraj. Beautiful detail.

Yes. I remember seeing this one. I like the lighting and colors on the other one better. Good idea. Strong image.

Neeraj you have some fantastic photos... really sentimental might I say. I love photos of hands, and this one is done very well... not only are they hands, but they are hands that have the lines of a life, and hands that are working with faith. Really nice note and, the colours in the shot really hold the onlookers attention. Good choice of frame!

Biance.
