[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nandi Kund is a beautiful lake in the Garhwal Himalayas. It took me 5 days to reach the lake as I double marched and skips two campsites. Usually people take 7 days to reach it and 5 days to return. To me this trek was one of the most beautiful treks as I had to cross meadows, forests, boulder zones, land slides and glaciers to reach it. It is an auspicious lake for the Hindus.

The lake is situated at an altitude of 4200m. To reach the lake one has to cross a pass of 4800m, descends to 3800m and then climb up to the lake.

It is rarely visited by people.

Hello Rajib!
Nice momment and beautiful lake colour!
Nice atmosphere in your composition!
Excellent done!
Best regards!

That's quite the note you've written to describe your journey. It looks like it was well worth the trip. This is a truly beautiful place!
I love the round ripple in the water, it adds an interesting dimension. The colours and composition are very nice too.
Those misty clouds give off the perfect mood of solitude.
Well done!

Just beautiful and the ripples in the water make the shot really nice! LOVE IT! I assume it's too cold to swim in, but I would try anyways!

Excellent capture Rajib!
I love the ripple in the water.
