Kanchenjunga, third highest mountain in the world (after Mount Everest and K2), with an altitude of 8,586 metres (28,169 ft). Kangchenjunga translated means "The Five Treasures of Snows", as it contains five peaks, four of them over 8,450 metres.

Early morning shot from Gangtok, almost a south east face. Thanks for looking, bye.

Nice shot of a legendary landmark. Is it a tight crop? The sky is pretty grainy. Beautiful light emphasizing the topography, and a very clear atmosphere.

Very good photograph Neeraj..
The light of rising sun is giving it a classical look.

Wondeful lighting on the mountain; well captured.

Great light angle. Tanks for the note.

Greetings.

Hi Neeraj,
A lovely view of this famous peak. The sunlight on the mountain slopes looks so beautiful. well done.
Sunil

Hi Neeraj,

This is a very dramatic capture of the mountain, thanks to that brilliant light and shadow display.

Regards,
Alvin

Hello Neeraj,
Wow awesome shot of this mountain top. Love the golden hues from the sun. Very well executed with a dramatic exposure. Bummer it's a bit noisy though.

**In hopes you don't mind I posted a workshop with the noise removed.

Hi Neeraj. Good alpine shot with good detail of the rocks on the mountainside. Good time to take this with the sunset in full colour. The sky would be better if deep blue but we can't adjust that to suit. TFS. Murray.
