|This was taken at the Marina Beach in Chennai. |
Marina Beach is an urban beach in the city of Chennai, along the Bay of Bengal, part of the Indian Ocean. The beach runs a distance of 13 km making it the longest natural urban beach in the country and the world's second longest.
The beachfront is also very broad, so it takes some walking to actually get to the sea. You can see a small strip of the sea in this shot. I was running out of time on this occasion and couldn't walk all the way to the sea, so I decided to shoot the beach and sky instead.

Now that is an interesting perspective! Pretty neat and well thought of. A standard composition would be nothing special but this view makes one sit up and take notice.
The composition matches the title very well. Wow, what a sky there is.
The beach is funny. It is a big beach indeed, but it takes a small part of the image. Well done.
p.s.: happy Valentine
