While preparing the food, a lovely soft atmosphere existed in this room/kitchen! Perfect sharpness in the smoke/steam produced from this pan. Great light in the room and accurate use of it.
Very neat B&W work.

A superb daily life scene & a good b&w image with a marvelous tonal range & good sharpness & graphism. The woman with her cooking pot animates the scene. Nice entry in the Friday food theme. The steam & smoke add mood. Tfs!

When I was growing up in the Philippines we used to cook our food this way, I still remember gathering firewood from the farm. Awesome capture and composition, and good documentation of the daily life. Also good contribution to Friday's theme. Very well done, tfs.
Very nice scene in an old kitchen, I am curious what was in the pot cooked

You always give me a lesson. To get out of my "comfort zone" and look around. This is a very interesting photo, giving us a story of a woman cooking, maybe for her family, in a rustic kitchen, no gas, no electricity. The B&W is ideal here. Many details to observe. TFS

It is part of the Friday's theme, you have captured well the action of the person getting the food ready for the meal. The black and white is givinbg a good contrast to the scene. Have a nice day.

Hi Yan, to me this is the most important point for the Theme - as you mention - this is the place where everything starts - a simple lentil soup or a Chateaubriand with all the trimmings - I think the latter gets boring after a while and I would go back to the basics !! And you should keep the Health aspect in mind.
I love the picture and the atmosphere of the kitchen.
Kind regards - Monika
