[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the surfer I took in Kuta beach, Bali. Shoot in afternoon, I kinda like the effect after I changed to B/W. The water and the pose of the surfer, makes him like he's dancing in those wave.

Very nice image, Yan. The spray of the water gives it a dynamic feel; I agree that b&w was a good choice; the framing is good with the surfer offset to the right and lots of sky in the frame. Well done.

Hi Yan,
A beautiful action shot and perfect choice of black and white. Your contrast is also perfect, the sharp outline of the silhouette splashed by crystal clear surf. The way the sky fades from light to dark is stunning. Excellent work.

Absolutely, you're right : he's dancing or walking into those wave. It's also because we can't see his board ;)
Nice shot !

Bonjour Yan,
Tout simplement magnifique !
Le noir et blanc apporte un jeu de lumière avec les vagues.
C'est dynamique.
Bonne journée

Hi Yan,
Fantastic image here! The black and white works very well and love how the lighting fades to the edges of the photo. Very tastefully done, congrats!

Wow, what a nice B&W. the water splashing everywhere it so cool. I really like the silhouette, must have been pretty hard to catch that! Great composition, lots of emotion in this photo. Good idea to darken the sky.
Job well done, tfs

Bonjour Yan,
Tu a su merveilleusement capter le mouvement de l'eau. Le choix du noir et blanc est judicieux. Le résultat est splendide !
Bonne journée.

You've got some brilliant images.

This one is particularly good because of those incredible shades of gray.

Perfect lighting and you took full advantage of your surroundings here... tfs,
