I like the simplicity of this scene, and the warm curiosity they are showing. I don't know what 'chilly' is by Laos standards but I bet it's nothing to complain about!
Good sharp capture, on the Lumix (as with other compacts) an aperture of f/3.2 is the equivalent of about f/12 on a DSLR, hence the deep field of focus.

exquisite scene of life that you knew to capture. Extremely sharp and well defined in the rendering of the image in detail, I find that the compo is very expressive, not only for the faces of the characters portrayed but also, and perhaps especially, for the context that you have read.

Hi Jan,
The name Laos reminds me the days of Vietnam war and now they are in peace but still they struggle for their survival.
Nice shot that one can feel the wheather by the scene, TFS.
