Hello friends in TL.

Recovering from wasp stings, I decided to do something safer for the uninsured amateur photographer - mowing the lawn. After a few rounds of driving in circle and I am not talking about Formula One - the thought came to mind to do self portrait. I parked my mower and headed for the dry cabinet and back, armed with camera, wireless remote and tripod. I sat on the mower but the remote failed to work probably because of the distance. Climbed down and pulled another trigger and this is the capture. Thanks for viewing.

HERE is one without the human interest.

Hi bro,

Koq tak nampak muka bro? . . You have very large garden to be taken care . .
Bagaimana cuaca disana?
Di Jakarta diramalkan akan ada banjir besar dari laut . . dan beberapa pinggir [antai sudah mulai tergenang air laut . .
Semoga baik-2 saja disana . .

Wow, what an ACTION SHOT.!
It looks like a scene out the 24 hours race of Le Mans, where drivers has to change quickly of seat. hahaha
AND, wow what an lawn.! No wonder it takes you a few hours to mowing it, Jusni.
Better you organize the next Championship Footbal, in the back of your garden, right ?
Gorgeous picture with good colours and shadows.
Mean Machine you have too.
Best regards from jan

Hello Jusni!
That is a great place, i always wanted to have so much space, but in a big city...that is impossible!
Very nice shot! Colors and light are excellent!

Have a nice day!

Hahaha! I love it! Great 'action' shot and particularly good on the composition. The lead-in of the mower is perfect from the lower right, placement of horizon and distant shed are spot-on too.

I think it's a little heavy in the greys/midrange, making it a little darker than it should be, but that's a minor; this is a cool shot!

Hello Jusni

AN excellent shot here, nice angled POV and although its quite a dark image I like that I think its effective.

TFS regards Helen

Hi, Jusni!

Bonsoir Jusni,
Un gros travail de tonte en perspective, mais dans un tel décor ce doit être un plaisir.
Bravo pour les belles couleurs bien saturées, c’est de toute beauté.

Assalammualaikum Jusni,
You know what? The way you are about to ride your tractor is likened that to a rider who is about to ride his horse. Left foot on up and left hand on stirrup. And we are the typical 70s and 80s boys aren't we? Blue jeans, base cap and fung keong shoes :)
Kinda like hits from the past!

hello dear jusni

good composition with good pov
your pose is very quick...
i like your small f1 tractor in orange

good self portrait

Assalamualaikum Jusni,

if there was a naming contest for your home, my entry would be The Green Acre Villa...:)

nice pov & colours, unfortunately the stuntman on the mower was a camera shy.

great shot.

belum ada posting baru. sedang berkabung kerana ada kematian di rumah.

ciao Jusni...
ah ah.. really an unusual selfportrait!! original ramdom capture.. pov and scene are effective!! the TE capture is wonderful!! thanks
ciao Marco

hehehehe bro funny.. mo ketawa aku tengok yg ne.. isk isk isk bestnya laman ko yg luas ne.. boleh jogging ulang alik tak payah pegi jauh2.. boleh main bola or sepak takraw.. my fav. game.. bola tu just practice shooting.. takraw minat zaman sekolah.. a dream kalo punya laman secantik begini.. nak buat rumah kat tanah aku jauh dari kk.. hehee.

apa pon bro nice pose of model ngan mower nya dari belakang :D kalo bro malas excercise buat ne pun dah cukup.. macam ballad atas mower la pulak..

tfs.. :)

regards, terry

hi Jusni

This self portrait works quite successfully, why? Because I see a figure inside the frame and the leg is still trying to hover over the seat when the shutter is closed pre-maturely. Perhaps every photographer must try a self-portrait to qualify for membership to TL. I know this lawn, seen it before and dedicated to me too.

Perhaps I dare also to suggest you pitch a tent and camp overnight on this lawn, shoot some night scene with tripod.

When you cut nicely the lawn, water a small section just after sundown, let it cool and crawl on your legs with a torch and you may find many earthworms.

TFS, bill

Hi Jusni,

You have a HUGE lawn. No wonder you've got a mower that looked like a tractor.

As always, the contrast of colours in your photos always strike me. The bright orange of that tractor really stands out from the green lawn.

The photo is somewhat comical in the way of your position with the lawnmower. Are you getting off or on the lawnmower??

Hi Jusni, Funny shot, interesting note. Are you OK after wasp stings? You have a huge lawn to mowe. You live in splendid place. Warm regards

Hi Jusni !
an excellent composition here. I like the clever placement of the tractor - it really works !

personally, I'm concerned with the tones- perhaps a bit too dark ;-)

Well done.
Best regards, Daniel

Junsi Hi:
What a wonderfully Human Interest presentation, that is what I really like about your presentations. Not only are they very professional but you are not afraid to laugh at yourself.
Congratulations, very well done.

Hi Jusni,
It is good to see you in your daily life routine. I also need to mow my lawn today before my neighbors start complaining. Good work buddy. Greetings! Danilo

Hello Jusni
A hole in the clouds draws attention on the little building and on the surrounding greenery and composes an eye-catching effect.
The impression of vastness is enhanced by the convergent ruts on grass.
By the way, make me a price to mow my grass twice a month, until october!!!
Best regards.

Assalamualaikum brader!
Hmm... your appearance is making me thinking of my past. And... a Deep Purple tunes are somewhere inside my box of cassettes collection for me to dig out later.

Having a great lawn, a huge lawn is making me thinking of something I normally do not dare to think of. Shahrukh Khan & Amna Shariff wanna be dancer is busy crawling and bouncing for the whole day to make a complete edge to edge dances.

Great colors, clarity and composition for an interesting idea of a self-portrait. Hope you are fully recovered from the bee stings.

:) later
