[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo was taken years ago when I was starting digital. The Fuji Finepix S602Z was really a fine camera even by today standard. Even better than Fuji's current lineup of bridge cameras.
But this photo isn't really about the camera. It was really about a running joke and kidding around from something Ramdan and Lano had heard or shared with Boomcat.
One late night, Ramdan received a text message from Lano. In his message, Lano insisted Ramdan not to tell or share with anyone a great technique he had "discovered". This technique would revolutionize a new and better way of getting the moon well defined on a dark night, and he wouldn't want anyone else to know except Ramdan. It would be their "secret technique".
In the text message, Lano said the secret and no-sharing-with-others-technique has a special name. He called it " The Great Technique Of Shooting The Moon With Flash" :) |

hello Rabani
By chance I noticed that this is your 100th post on TL. I saw a post of moon from Jusni using a little pp work. While we are still learning about photography, you area already possessing wealth of experience on this line of work. It will perhaps take time for us to follow your footsteps about shooting.
'With Flash' = now that is what can make him a professor of photography, no?
After I look at this photo and thinking about the Fuji 602Z, its 3mp is much better than the Fujifilm Finepix 2600zoom that I used with 8mb memory card upto 2005 for snapshots.
Tell you what, this gets me thinking of asking you to post a scan of one of your year2000 film photos?
tfs, bill

Assalamuallaikum Saudara,
Simple but impressive. Good contrast. Its look like silhoutte. Blue a primary colours was nicely matchs with moon at the centre , the dead branches and a birds add life to its. Composition has been done nicely. Congrats!
