|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
In Malaysia the Ayam Serama is believed to have derived its name from the Sri Rama character of the famous old Kelantanese folk tale. The first breeding was in Kelantan, the northeastern state in peninsular Malaysia, by the village folks as a past time.Through crossing with the Malaysia jungle fowl and other small breeds and with further refinement through selective breeding that the village folks were able to achieve considerable success in fixing the desired traits and temperament in the Ayam Serama. However, as in all pet breed animals, over the years the Ayam Serama had gone through some changes in its shape and trait emphasis. The chicken you see now is much slimmer and has much more gaya(action) bred into it. Ayam Serama is the only chicken in the world that is kept as pet and is the smallest chicken breed. Weighing at its most desired weight of no more than 350gms is created through selective breeding over the last few decades.

Beautiful shot, I like tghe versatile olours of the subject as well as the cloudy sky that gives a nice background to highlight it. You took the shot from an interesting perspective that worked quite well. Good job, TFS!

Very good composed shot of this cock standing tall and capturing the light across the sky. I would say very good pose and color.
