This pigeon traped in old house and looking out side as he wanted to go back to its nest, it remind me famouse poem of Maya Angelou "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings",which goes like...

The free bird leaps
on the back of the win
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and is tune is heard
on the distant hillfor the caged bird
sings of freedom
The free bird thinks of another breeze
an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.

This photo is absolutely breathtaking Mujtaba. Every aspect of it is beautiful. The bird sitting on the ledge, the dark mysterious house, and the sunset in the background. This is such a fantastic photo.

It looks like something that would come from the movie "Lord of the Rings!"
Congratulations!

Great stuff !

The dark beautiful of this picture is uniquely its own, nothing can come close!

This is a lovely shot Mujtaba, and I think it would be so even without the bird. The aspect through the window is wonderful and the colours of the sky beyond a excellent. The bird truly does look wistful, as if longing to be outside.

Very well spotted. :)

Cheers,
Dennis

This is just beautiful, Mujtaba,

Hi Mujtaba,
Very great composition with this bird sitting next to the window and hoping for liberty. I like this purple sun next to the bird. Great capture.

this is such a great capture. I donīt know, but maybe a bit more of contrast would give more effect to the pic, but i am not sure of that. The composition is very well done.

Excellent play of colours in the window. A successful picture.

Hi, Mujtaba, this is such a beautiful picture, it's pulling us to look and search through it. The composition is great, what a timing with the pigeon... We can feel your artistic search, very personal, you have style. TFS!
Francine

Unfortunately I know why a caged bird sings and let's hope that if there is anybody who has birds in cage and see your photo, to think also why it sings! Maybe, in this way, people will care about animals life too and understand that just like them, these beings feel better in their own environment. And turning to your view, I congrat you for this nice shoot with a pigeon (peace) ready to fly in sky immensity. Very special colors and sunlight position! Suited background!

E.

Hey! No matter how many times i look at this picture it makes me ponder something. It's tremendously beautiful and Very well composed with those lines of the note.

A loud applause from my side!
loads of luck,
Shubhi
