Just on the right side of you lens mount there is a button that by pressing you can view the DOF and that helps much to check before make a click, though the real MASTERS are out arena and no uploading nor any critique so that button could help much to check that, do that next time as here I see beautiful bokeh, TFS.

Dear Mushtaq,

Not up to your standards. Try increasing your f stop to increase your DOF. If your purpose was to show great Bokeh, why have a focal point that is Not in focus?

Opinions are like ears ... every body has a couple! 8-)

Yes, as Mike says, the core of the Autumn dandelion is not really in focus, but still I like this image. It is quite original in the flower photo genre, thanks precisely to the fact that you choose to only "focus" on the core of the flower (whereas others would be tempted to completely isolate the flower from its background). Interesting, how the seeds merge into the background bokeh. This is more about shapes and colors than about macro photography. You caught the mood of autumn, when everything becomes "beautifully incertain"... On paper print, this would look more acceptable (for some) than on a computer screen, I think...

The experiment as you like to perform in your photography oftentimes with f/3.3 closing up on your main subject will produce extreme shallow depth as here and frankly this is the beauty of it all moreover in the offing a generously vibrant bokeh of brillant colors makes the dandelion come to light even more so ! Yes my friend it's very shallow , i think the focus is correct on the seeds at the very top , great style of imagery sir, i like your work ,

Hello Mushtaq, this is such a beautiful picture,very reminiscent of a painting, excellent work.
The bokeh is full of lovely colours and the soft effect on the seed head is very, very good.

I like the contrast between the dandelion and a charming bokeh.
The sharpness on some of the seeds of this lovely wild flower is well caught among the light and exposure too.´
