The candles were really blue?? This is a beautiful photograph, and great colour work. how did you go about achieving this effect? I sthere a meaning to leaving some of the background candles in colour?

Love the cobalt blue in contrast with the whites and grays. Great perspective and nice use of lighting. Smiley face :D

I love this glimpse into this amazing time in the Philippines. As a 'foreigner' experiencing All Saints and All Souls in a tiny provincial town back in 2001, I was so impressed with the festive spirit and the sense of community that comes with such an event.
The candles amongst the graves are typical indeed of this ... your shot is evocative and very well composed and treated. Great work!
