Don't you know? Fairies come out at night. Incredible contrasts and use of lighting, I like the way the leaves are a bright orange-yellow that pop out. Great capture of motion in the water (the blue-white tones are lovely) and great composition with the creek running diagonally through. Good simple frame. TFS!

Hi Allan,

See I tried some shots like this in the Summer, but 1. It was too bright and 2. My aperture settings only go up to 8... so I was dissapointed after one long/confusing hike. :P

Interesting/strange title and note you got there. This image is the visual definition to the word aesthetic, I love it... the dark tones in the leaves/bushes... the silvery rush of water, and the way the rocks look like dark chocolate... stunning work with an effective white frame. Now I wonder... did you venture across this slippery creek- and better yet... did you make it across without getting wet. :P

Beautiful scene, the effect that the speed chosen for this pic, gives a peaceful feeling to this location and the colours of the leaves in the water are very eye catching.
