|St. Paul's Subterranean River National Park|
Sharing an old photo taken from a poor instamatic cam.
We were about to enter the Underground river. There were stalactite formations of different kinds or things like pineapple, virgin Mary, even a dome of a basilica w/ oculus! Lots of flying critters that added the to the thrill of claustrophobia!
From left to right: the rower, Moi, Rowel, Joselle, & 2 FEU sweethearts, and the chairman. We went here as student representatives from our school, for architecture competitions in this Jamboree. I won 2nd place in the national quiz bee! Yippeee!
Longest Underground River in the World
Palawan's St. Paul's underground river is said to be the world's longest underground river. The navigable part of the river inside the cave of the 4000-acre St. Paul Subterranean River stretches 8.2 kilometers in length (5 miles). However, this title is being disputed in Vietnam where an underground river known as Son Trach River reportedly extends 7 miles in length. Filipino explorers, however, claimed that once fully measured, St. Paul's total length would reach 15 kilometers.

It's nice to see something new about nature here. It's the longest underground river!! Well, this picture is something but the color's a little dull maybe you can increase the intensity of it by a little. after all it's alright to look at it.
