Tsarskoye Selo, once known as the Czar’s Village or Pushkin, is approximately 17 miles south of the city of St. Petersburg and is the site of Catherine’s Palace.

Built between 1719-1723 and restored many times, it has a stunning aqua colored façade, decorated with statues, gold and white ornaments and topped with gold onion domes. Inside is an immense collection of art work and furnishings.

This, as with all of the palaces in the area, was heavily damaged by retreating German forces, but is now almost completely restored.

Hello Tsilla,
Fantastic composition, colours and patterns in excellent quality. Well done. It probably would have benefited from perspective correction but very good as is. Best wishes.

Hi Tsilla,
What a lovely symmetry in this architecture adorned by excellent lighting. I like the warm sunshine on the golden domes of this fantastic structure.
Very neat work.
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Beautiful capture of this world famous palace! Love the lighting hitting the crosses, it make it look like it's glowing with the color of gold. Good dof with sharp details. Very well done, tfs.

Beautiful colours, everything sharp and interest throughout the scene. Unfortunately there is some convergence which is noticeable but, for me, doesn't dtract from the image.
Well done
