|Every year Chinese all over the globe celebrate the Lunar Chinese New Year. This is the most important festival in the Chinese calendar.|
Traditionally it's to celebrate harvest time during the vastly agrarian period of China's development.
Prior to the actual day of Chinese New Year, we have the Reunion Dinner. It's where the whole family comes together to have a meal. Signifying unity and respect for the elders in the family.
Pictured here is a steamboat setup. Its one of the most common dish for reunion dinner. There is a soup section, and the hot plate section where I cook my favorite BBQ crab sticks.

Great notes that comes along with the pic. I also have steamboat as reunion dinner. But mine doesnt have the grill portion like yours.
