Taman Haiwan Singapore zoo with its 350 species of animals of which 16 % are considered threatened species. The zoo attracts about 1.5 million visitors a year. They have followed the modern trend of displaying animals in natural open exibits. The animals roam in landscaped areas with physical barriers disguised behind waterfalls, vegetation and moats. Some animals are even grouped with other species to show the coexistence as they would in nature.
