|I woke up early to capture an early morning scene in Singapore and I learned that the sun rises late in Singapore. I woke up at 5am and the sun came out before a few minutes before seven so I waited for almost 2hours in darkness.. but I would say it is worth awhile.|

Haha ... you'd have multiple issues with sunrises in NZ then, mate! In winter it rises around 7:30am, in summer it can rise as early as 5:30 and the exact sunrise changes every day ...
