Looking at the harbor

|I like vertical frames. Photography is different and composition rules change...|
The model is the best one I could have so, no excuse to enjoy photography with my Pentax K-x.
Light was even that Singaporean afternoon.

Great play with depth of field, Galder Jon. You achieved a lovely bokeh, that helps to make your model pop out in your vertical composition and that creates some almost abstract patterns. In spite of the flat light, you managed to obtain/create (?) a rich and harmonious palette of warm color tones.
Just not sure whether she is looking at the harbor, as your photo title suggests. Couldn't it be she is rather looking at the person behind the lens? ;o)
TFS & kind regards,
hi Galder this is exellent portrait work nice sharpness and a grt dof tfs
Very nice and beautiful portrait of model, very good shot in low light and blue background made this photo amazing, good POV,
Everything is just perfect except the sharpness & focus; otherwise it would have been a marvelous composition...
Thanks for sharing...

a beautiful portrait shot of Bess,
I like this one best in your three postings,
her posture and expression are very natural and charming,
and the vertical format matches this her figure,
the tender atmosphere from her is well captured,
thank you for your excellent shot,
I wish you a happy new year 2011!
