Just a view down the 176-step spiral staircase from the Ru Yun Ta pagoda's seventh floor, this pagoda is in the Chinese and Japanese Gardens situated on an island in Juron Lake ,Singapore and is easy to get to being a few 'steps' away from a metro station . In this scene i asked my wife to begin her descent towards the bottom , i snapped this photo.
Iso 100 , f/3.2 , 1/100s in manual mode ,
my humble contribution to this Friday theme . Thank you Damien for opening up a theme today , an interesting one !

Hello Carol,
Interestingly chosen PoV that provides an intriguing perspective to the scene. The sight goes on the helical coil till the bottom. A beautiful and arstistic contribution to the theme, well done. Thanks for sharing.
Best Regards,
Inaam

Hi Carol,
A splendid bird's eye view for this lovely composition.
A spiral staircase nicely presented with the sole person in the perfect position.
Good use of available lighting. A very sharp and neat presentation.

Hello Carol,a very good composition with the circle of the bottom of the stairs nicely placed within the frame. You did well to get so many levels in the shot.
I like the inclusion of your wife descending.
Good sharp focus throughout.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Very nice capture of this spiral staircase but I think I'd get dizzy halfway thru, I get dizzy just looking at it. Good lighting and nice details. Very well done, tfs.

Hi Carol
Precise chose of place to take this one, and a perfect composition expressing an amazing graphic effect. Excellent sharpness and light, and the human factor giving us a perfect notion of scale. Very well done.
Congrats, mb

176 steps down(stairs), OOF!

This is a well caught shot with amazing POV and a very well suitable contribution to Friday's theme, Carol!
Great focus and the presence of the person adds sense of scale and life to the scene.
The colors are well shown and symmetry of this wonderful architecture is cleverly revealed.
Well done!

Have a nice weekend.

Greetings,
Paras

Bonjour Carol,

Hello, Carol -
Good one - I love shots like this. Wonderful perspective to capture the swirling shape. The person descending provides an organic element as well as scale. Well done.

Olá carol

Hello Carol,

Seems you like patterns & shapes like me. (I also liked your blue chairs!) Good downward pov on the spiral staircase with excellent framing & sharpness. The solitary person adds scale & a welcome human element. Tfs!
