Hey TL Friends.
The window to paradise:
I have to admit, it is, for me, very difficult to put my new lens away, it was so fun taking photos off tiny things, close and to make PP work with it afterwards.
But a word is a word, so I have used this day, its my day off, to search for useful photos, it is a rainy day, again, her in Denmark, so there is actually no other things to do (I am afraid that my wife don’t agree, but she is at work, so ho cares).
I found this photo among others on my computer it is taken on the Island Kho Samui in Thailand, taken with my Canon Ixus 65, and off course there is a difference between a SLR camera and a compact camera, but I think this is OK.
My wife and I have been on this island on this beach many times, and both off us are off that opinion, that it is a paradise beach. We have being visiting the restaurant many times at night, it’s a special place, when your are arriving at 8 PM you will be seated on the beach 2-5 m away from the water, but before you are finish eating, you will have your legs under water up to your knee. A very special way to eat, but its nice, romantic and the food are excellent.
I have done some PP work on this one, sharpened it a bit, adjust the contrast, highlighted some shadows, framed it resized it, and uploaded it to TL.
Hope you like it.

Look out off your window and you will be able to find beauty everywhere.

Hi jens
very nice postcard.
Gr Jos

I have friends who have been to Kho Samui in Thailand and loved their time there. It must be a beautiful place Jens, but I'm sorry the frame hides our view of it all. I would prefer to see the whole picture and not the outsides blurred like this - just my opinion Jens.
But apart from that it makes me feel even colder looking at that warm sunshine. BBrrrr, it's cold here in NZ right now.

Well, if I look out the window today, it's gray and raining.
So I'll just look through yours :-).
Excellent capture. Excellent sharpness and details.

Good morning my friend

OH my what a beautiful looking place. Lovely capture and neat idea of window framing.

TFS regards Helen

Hello Jens.
Its still on my list, our neighbours went to it 2 months ago aswell.
It sure is a beautiful place for a relaxed holiday.
Must say, the inside framing does not well on the picture as it acentuate even more the unleveling of the water.
Cant have it all, lol
Best regards, Jan

Hello Jens,

HI Jens,
I had no holidays this year - and I love Thailand so much - now you are showing this wonderful shot - and I have "wanderlust" now.
I have holidays in November this year - 3 weeks - and no plan where to go ... now my ideas are going again to Asia - thanks for the shot, bye

Hi Jens,
How we know that feeling you get when dining out on the beach - it's the best.
Thanks for reminding us with this beautiful "window".
Sad to hear that it's raining, but maybe the West coast of Jylland will be having better weather??

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Along the Zigzag’

Hej Jens,
Great photo, idea and creativity. There's one thing I should change: the size of the inner frame must have been bigger in order to fully get the mountains. Otherwise absolutely beautiful image.
