Her name is Gina. She's another one of my students.

Every no-uniform day, I bring my camera to school. Yesterday was a no-uniform day. I asked Gina to pose for me in the corridors of the high school building. I took a lot of shots and was very satisfied with almost all of them.

During my class, I pulled the curtain apart and noticed the good window light. Later, I looked for Gina and asked if she could pose for me again. The pictures here were a lot better because of the dramatic lighting.

Warning: this is not gonna be the last time that you will see Gina here. I hope you won't mind.

(Gina is a print ad model in thailand. She also appeared in many mtv of local singers.)

Used my 50mm 1.8

And she really is beautiful too! Lovely composition here Manny - you have a great subject. The colours are great - and the earring resting against her hair - great effect. Well done, and I certainly don't mind seeing more of her!!

Excellent shot Manny. You can now branch out and work as a glamour photographer...you've pretty much nailed the subject (and using natural light as well which is pretty damn hard to begin with). Anyway, excellent image, wonderful composition and a beautiful model to boot. Good job!

Really nice portrait and framing. I see some noise is the darker part but nothing too distracting taking into account the whole difficult light exposure. Really candid look for this model.

Wonderful shot and light here, Manuel.
You seem to have many beautiful models available around you! :D Great posed and framed. Nice shot!

not my favorite photo from you Manny. the technique is definitely there but i miss the emotion i always find in your other shots. i preferred the photo of your god daughter for instance;-)

I love this shot Manny, Gine is a beautiful girl and to me you've captured that beauty really well, the lighting is lovely. Well done.

Hello :) Manny: The illumination on its face is complemented perfectly with the light of its smile, the glance, she also smiles with its eyes. I like much angulo, the hair on its face gives a natural and espontaneo super effect him. I think that the earring gives a cultural and sophisticated touch simultaneously him, this type of earrings likes I much, she perfectly shines them due to the length of his hair and to his factions, I use east type of earrings sometimes, although my hair is not long like the one of her, but I also believe that she does not need accessories, she is 100% natural one. Definitively Gina is one pretty girl. Greetings and Happy weekend. *Ninfa Urania*

Here's a lovely Gina! she's nicely framed, with that diagonal line from her neck to her face. Add on top of that a diffuse light and all in all it makes a good portrait but... here comes the "but" you were waiting for...

Models or wannabe models always want to show perfection, and perfection is not of this world, although Pshop help us get closer to it ;-). See these little "scars" or "pimples" on her nose and left side cheek, this is where you must show you're in control Manny, I think you could get rid of them with an antidust or gaussian blur filter that you would apply locally.

Beautiful shot of a really beautiful young woman, Manuel! I like the composition (diagonal line of her neck and face, and the soft vertical of her hair) and you made really good use of the light. I for one don't mind seeing a lot more of her :) As for the minor imperfections -- well, that's what accentuates her beauty and what makes her "real". Removing the tiny little marks on her skin would be tantamount to plastering make-up onto her face; OK, but artificial, IMHO! Looking forward to more photos of her.

What a beauty she is, Manny. You made a great portrait of her, with the light wonderfully falling on her tilted head and the earring. Very nicely done.

Great shot and subject. I like the pose, and the position of the earrings. Lukos ws brings something more out, but this is very good, well done.

Beautiful and different portrait - I like the cropping and the angle of Gina's head.

Thanks for sharing, Manuel - this profesional work ;-)

Beautiful woman, superbly captured Manuel! Love the positioning of her hair and your frame is absolutely great, giving her beauty the 1st plan here. Good job :)
