[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This staircase leads to the upper levels of a small lighthouse on Coco Cay, a small island in the Bahamas owned by the Royal Caribbean cruise lines. The island was one of our ports of call on a 3-night cruise out of Port Canaveral, Florida.

What caught my eye in this scene was how the turquoise of the staircase matched the color of the water, and the graphical shape of the spiral, framed by the rock pillars.

These look inviting to say the least, the color and composition is excellent, the POV phenomenal, well done Robert!

A great capture Robert... I love how the pillars frame the stair case and the colours blend so well.
Nice composition.

The perfect picture to post on a cold winter day! You capture the light very well. However, the top of the picture could be cropped.

I like how you can see the turquoise with the way the sun is hitting the staircase. I love spiral staircases and this one is beautiful especially with the background. This is a great capture! - I would agree with cropping a little of the top.

This photo is so nice, calm and serene, I so wish I was there! I agree with your comments on the photo, those are exactly the elements I like too, the spiral, and the matching colors and the rock wall frame. Well done.

The simplicity and the contrast in colours make this stand out. I immediately wanted to see the bigger picture. I agree if you take the rusty part at the top away it's better.
Lovely.

Interesting composition, I like the combination of shapes here, along with the soft colours. Nice photo!

Robert,
You hit it dead-on when you said the stair color matched the color of the water.
The pilars actually accent the rocks on the beach.
The composition is what makes this photo work, of course I love the spiral staircase and the erosion and wear on the steps, it makes them seem necessary.
Interesting you'd grab your camera- seems like something I would do!
Nice job, Robert.
Take care
Scott
