[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This boat was docked along side the cruise ships. Someone's toy? More research needed.

D200 braced on dock without tripod. -1/2 exposure to keep detail in lighted bay. Levels, sharpening, and a little "dodging" of the top radar ball to keep detail.

When I hit the lotto mega milions...........

Beautiful night shot, Norman. The exposure is well controlled, all details are well visible. I particularly like the reflection on the water and the underwater lights.
Shots like this are tricky to downsize because of all those well-defined lines. If you do it too quickly, as I imagine you did, you end up with jaggies... Look at the railings and the diagonal lines under that radar, see them?
Still, it's a nice image to look at. Well captured.

Tricia

ps we where in St. Marten last year and saw a few ships this size... the guide told us they where the babies! As the larger ones can even have a mini sub and a Halo pads... needless to say our mouths DROPPED! lol

One day, when you'll be outrageously rich...;-)

Excellent exposure. I like the spots lighting up the water.

Greetz,

Natalia
