[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Second photo from my three week trip through Cuba. I will soon be creating a travelogue and provide more specifics on the trip itself.

I made this photo on one of first days of my vacation while visiting a local market. This lovely old man, who was selling plastic bags, was more than willing to pose for a photo.

At home I thought that the photo needed a more old fashion look so I used Nik Efex and one of the standard templates. In addition I adjusted contrast and sharpness.

Bom dia Niek,
More often simplicity gifts us with amazing images. This is one of it, including the cooperative model.
I see that the touches were minimal and essential.
Done masterfully.
Good Sunday.

Hi, Niek. An expressive portrait of the elderly gentleman. The format was appropriate since it brings out the subtleties of the myriad tones. Cheers.

bravo et belle soirée

Hi Niek,

Love this capture however the gentleman's face appears quite blurred and out of focus. In fact it's very difficult to find an area of the photo that is in focus, and in my opinion this takes away from what is otherwise a fantastic, honest portrait.

Thanks for sharing!
