This was taken four years ago when I was in Guatemala. Taken in the beautiful little city of Antigua, which used to be the capital city of Guatemala. But many years ago it was rocked by a huge earthquake, at which time the capital city became Guatemala City. Many of the ruins were left as they were, and to this day, evidence of the earthquake is everywhere. This catherdral in fact, was damaged, and partially rebuilt, and it was still being used. It's the Catedral de San JosÚ.

This cathedral is on one side of the town square where we spent a lot of time, just hanging out with the locals and watching the interesting people.

Hi Trudy,

You're capturing well this cathedral by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interstin and impressive to see the cathedral with spanish style. It's a good design and also impressive in some statues, ring and flag of top. The whole is harmonized well by a good balance.

Kind regards,

Bom dia Trudy

Ciao Trudy

Good upward pov on the old cathedral and a fine entry in the architecture theme. Good shadow detail & sharpness. The green bell makes a nice focal point at left. Love the ornate statues too although they need a clean. Tfs!

Hello Trudy.

It must have looked so so good in its day, a wonderful presentation by you, the active sky adds much attraction here. Take care.
