Hi John

It can be quite difficult to get the exposure of snow right. The camera is calibrated to 18% grey so tries to expose it as grey. But you have done well exposing this shot. I like the composition and the focus is quite good. I do think though, that the photo needs a central point of interest.

Hello John,
In my opinion the vanishing point successfully substitutes for a point of interest in this beautiful tranquil winter scene. Excellent exposure control. I think you could have cropped all the blue sky off at the top but very good as is. A real pleasure to view.
