Devoutly at the Troyan Monastery

|Photo taken at the Troyan Monastery , Bulgaria...|
10 kms south of the small town of Troyan stands Bulgaria's third largest monastery .It is a charming place and one of the highlights of central Bulgaria .It has some of the most interesting murals in the whole country , those are the work of Zahari Zograf regarded as the leading mural artist during the Bulgarian national revival period. The church of the Holy Virgin in the center of the precinct was painted in the 1840s inside with colourful frescos by this artist but unfortunately since the interior is poorly lit and details are hard to see photographers hang around the outside where luckily his best work is admired on the back wall under the porch. Here is a devout lady showing her devotion by lighting a candle before entering the church with the painted wall as Bg , available light , iso 100 , a rather slow shutter at 1/25 sec and f/3.5,
Increased gamma , brightness and contrast, sharpened edges and a narrow 3D frame added in Photo Filtre,

I find it so difficult to take pictures inside of churches, but this has turned out beautifully. The lighting, colors, and detail are excellent. Very good timing. TFS and have a happy day!
