[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Baćina lakes are located in Dalmatia, Croatia. They are named after the inland town of Baćina close to the port city of Ploče. The lakes are part of a picturesque landscape and surrounded by mountains. They are situated between Makarska and Dubrovnik. It is a crypto-depression lake, with its bottom below the surface of the sea.

An unexpected b/w shot from you today Francis.
A neat composition with the hills receding into the distance.
A very good presentation and interesting notes.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Great black and white, Francis, to be seen with eyes half-closed and a certain distance when the image reaches its extreme beauty.
Lights, shapes and wonderful tones.

Beautiful location with good pov and clarity. TFS

Hi Francis,
Beautiful landscape. It looks wonderful in bw. The different layers of mountains and the little islands are simply beautiful!

Hi Francis
The different shades in the scenery provide a good DOF. Good work in b&w.
