[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is located in a very small town called Jaegerthal, in the past it was a big forge and it was very important for local economy. But then it was closed, abandoned, and slowly turned into a ruin.

Then a rich German man bought it and renovated it completely. Outside it still looks old, but inside it is very luxuous, the kind of place I thought would only exist in fairy tales. The forest behind the house also belongs to this man, and in summer he can bather in the lake, just in front of the house - water is quite cold but must be great though. It's a real little paradise.

I know all these things about this house because my grand parents live in the same village, and they know the man who bought it. They are allowed to go inside the house and they showed it to me some weeks ago. I was really impressed by what I saw.

Please have a look at the workshop !
I have also a very old photo of this place, when it was still a forge, at the beginning of the century. I did not make the photo, of course, but I think it is quite interesting to see the changes that have occured. I hope it's OK to show it here even if it is not mine...

Hello Valerie,
you really captured the mood here, I love the colors and reflections on the water. Excellent POV and very nice details.
Thank you for posting the workshop, it shows the changes of this place very well.

Hi Valerie
What a beautiful story about the forge...
In my dreams I imagine something like this. Get a house or a place that could be modified till the point of use again.
well.. I liked your photo over all. The composition is great, there are many dense trees in the back and it made a real "mood" to the picture. Good DOF. POV and sharpness.
well done.

Hi Valerie,
Well... This looks like a great place to live! And I say that even before I have seen the inside...
A lovely place at the edge of the forest, industrial site turned into very fine living quarters!
Well composed image, something different from what you normally do...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Valerie,
The photo is so beautiful, so pastoral and idyllic. The composition is also soothing. I could live in this house if I were rich. Best wishes.

Belle photo avec cette reflexion sur le plan d'eau, et la fôret derrière la batisse qui parait si dense.

Bonsoir.
Comme il doit faire bon vivre dans cette maison-moulin.
Félications pour cette pause....

Good shot but it would've been better if you omit the grass on the bottom left of your photo as i fund them a little bit distracting.
Great note too Valeri. TFS.
