During our holiday in Paris, I decided to take my photos in a different way. So I took unusual views of the well known landmarks. I hope you like it.
Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris.[1] More than 200,000,000 have visited the tower since its construction in 1889,[2] including 6,719,200 in 2006,[3] making it the most visited paid monument in the world.[4][5] Including the 24 m (79 ft) antenna, the structure is 325 m (1,063 ft) high (since 2000), which is equivalent to about 81 levels in a conventional building.(Courtesy of www.wikipedia.org)

Hi Vas,
Indeed a different view of the tower. Nicely framed by the parts of the bridge. Very nice shot.

Hi Vassilis,

Very creative! I've never seen this particular view of the Eiffel Tower (and I've seen many). Looks like you had lovely weather in Paris.

I really like the walkway along the Seine too. Very nice with the shadows, etc...

Love, LIsa

Hi Vassilis,
This is a most unusual view of the tower but I like it, I have not visited France for a couple of years now, I really like the POV here with the ornate stonework and the bridge, I do tend to think that the path off to the right along the river tries to draw the eye away from the tower though thats only My Opinion.
Regards Andy

Hi Vassilis & welcome back!

A different pov on the famous Parisian landmark. A nice blue sky, with good sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Vassilis,
Yes I like this composition, nice how you captured the Eiffel tower between these bridge armatures. Excellent sharpness and a fine contrast. Good colours too and the sky is perfect, no OE in the clouds. Good to see y'r back!

Definitely not a view of the tower I have seen before Vsssilis, nicely framed by the structures in the foreground and good colour,

Hello Vassilis!

What a wonderful and creative composition you have got here! I couldn't agree with you more about the unusual views of popular landmarks. I also believe unusual views are best when taking pictures of popular landmarks, because they bring out the uniqueness in a photograph! Great work as always!

I know where you were standing. I know Paris very well specially the areas near liberty statue & Eiffel tower. I had been living there for many years.
Great shot of beautiful tower.Well done.

Hello Vassilis,

Interesting way of framing the distant tower!
This way you effectively force my attention to the subject, and I notice the fine feeling of depth...
A well balanced composition, fine details!

Hi Vassilis,
This is indeed a different view of the famous Eiffel Tower, and I'm glad to see a different perspective. Well framed, the flanking statues and columns provide depth. My compliments, Danilo

I like seeing not only the ET, but also the walkway on the right, near the bank of the Seine, Vassilis. The sky looks lovely, it was a nice day then, wasn't it?
I also like seeing the bridge in front of the tower, and the lush green all around.
Paris is a wonderful city, you captured this world-famous landmark in a very nice way.

Hello Vassilis !

I hope you had a pleasant stay together in Paris. The weather was surely great on that day looking at this great shot.
Lovely perspective and composition. The leadimg line is forcing us to walk alonh the river , but our eye is certainly attracted by the pretty lady .
