I think that this is a very very good begining. Technically is good, and I like very much.

I think it has a good mood, the motion blur is perfect. I agree with your notes, but I still like it.

Whooooaaaaa, first time, you could have fooled me!
This is great Eric, IMHO you have achieved a beautiful and very succesful shot, evrything is perfect...panning is not the easiest technique you know, but you have done really well.
Good work, excellent!

Your wide angle shows a lot of context. Sharper, sure it should be, but the blur here means motion too. I like the overall effect. Try and try until you succeed.

I succeeded at some point then failed again. The essence is getting up after each fall.

A great first attempt,excellent result.
I've not tried this yet but if I get a result like this at first go I'll be jumping for joy!
Very well done, keep up the good work.

Panning! Great to know that people are still practicing this stuff Eric. Kudos to you for doing it in real life, vice on the computer.

Eric, I keep on trying this since I saw one here (I guess it was one from Manny)..I can never succeed..I think yours is almost there..I liked it very much as it is too..even if still a little blurred, man on bike comes out very good...
cheers :)

Well...as a panning shot it kinda works and kinda does not. I've done my share and never came up with anything that made me happy. This is the case here as well. It's not too bad, but not too good either. The subject is too much in the center of the frame and nothing is really sharp enough to hold your attention for longer. Good effort, though.

bon je vais arreter la, je me fais du mal :-) ta photo est géniale ! j'adore ce mouvement de l'ensemble, et même la cycliste est juste ce qu'il faut de flou, pas plus , pas moins. RAS. bravo encore.
