Yes the dark BG enhance the great tones of the leaves.
A photo very simple ... but that says a lot...good light
the way the leaves are arranged it creates a diagonal and I like it.

Awesome capture! And indeed, it look like the leaves are saying goodbye to each other. I like the catch of the reflection of the forest. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.

A nice Autumn shot. I wonder why the water looks blue? I would have selected a more cleaner looking set of leaves for this shot! Just a personal preference only.
