Okay -- I will confess -- I am on a diet and right now, the thought of a meal like this one is a long way off.
But, maybe a virtual meal will satisfy?
Taken almost two years ago, on a drive through the Black Forest
It's one of a series of food shots I did -- most of them connected with my youngest daughter's wedding in Mulhouse, just across the border in France.
This dish is Jagdwurst in juniper berry sauce, with home-fries, of course. The twist of orange gave it a marvellous piquancy

Hello Silke,
Some consolation for you....when one has been off that stuff for years you will get sick eating it. No desire for it at all so I have no suggestions for you but full marks for perserverance.

Hi Silke,
I think I like your choice of DOF,as it makes those sausages
look so appetizing & the gravy looks like it has lots of flavour,& that's why I only think, I like your DOF,because against my better judgment, I would love to try that dish out right now!Guess that would mean your image did its job.

That does look incredibly tempting, but I also can't eat this stuff anymore! B-(.... but your plate makes me HUNGRY!! Well done on this Silke, nice sharpness and great levels!
